We first met Samantha and Pete when they were in the wedding party at one of our weddings from a few years ago. When we found out that we were going to be able to go with them to Cancun to photograph their destination wedding, we were over the moon excited because we knew that this bunch of people would be such a fun group to hang out with for a few days. These two are such a stylish couple and they are completely perfect for one another. We loved going to Cancun and will always be looking for a reason to return!

When Kristen was picking out her outfits for her engagement shoot, she said that she thought the formality of the black lace would give an interesting contrast to the earthy tones of the pasture and the tall grass. And I quote, "I mean, who doesn't love a great sun hat?!" Well, we sure do! One of our favorite engagement sessions to date. Kristen and Landon, please come back to Texas and let us shoot portraits of you both on the daily. In the meantime, we'll be anxiously waiting for your wedding to come around next spring.

Kristen and Landon came over from Louisiana for their engagement shoot with us. We have known Kristen for several years as she and Luke grew up showing Angus cattle together, but this was our first time to meet Landon and he truly is her perfect match! Their engagement session packed so much awesomeness into one day that we decided to split their blog post into two parts.
