Hi there! We're Luke and Cat, and we're so happy you're here. We hope you'll stay a while! We’re a husband and wife wedding photographer team based in Houston, Texas. Ranchers-turned-photographers, our world looks like this: a Craftsman-style farmhouse; our newborn, Knox, in our arms; coffee in the kitchen; Edison lights on the back porch; and a pair of English bulldogs at the foot of our bed. Madisonville Backyard Wedding :: LIndy and Chuck

Nov 4, 2013 / Weddings
Lindy and Chuck had a really special, hometown fall wedding. The morning of their wedding, we woke up and checked the weather and we were in for a real treat - actual fall weather! It was cool weather all day which matched perfectly with the fall wedding they had planned. I thought Lindy and Chuck's wedding was just super unique - they got married very late in the evening in a beautiful church, and then danced the night away in a backyard reception at Lindy's parents home. It was a day that felt full of family, fun, and love - pretty much my idea of a perfect wedding.

Friends and family, we encourage you to visit the full gallery of images and sign their virtual guestbook!

College Station Wedding: Haley and Casey

Oct 17, 2013 / Weddings
We love any reason to go back to Aggieland, and Haley and Casey gave us a great one: their wedding! Earlier this summer we spent the day in College Station photographing their beautiful day!

What a radiant, happy bride Haley was!

Haley, you were stunning on your wedding day!

Casey, looking dapper as usual.

I just loved the ambiance of this church with the light pouring in from the round stained glass window above.

A little teary eyed! :)

After the ceremony, we all headed to Kyle Field for the reception at The Zone Club. In one of the coolest moments of my life, we got to take Haley and Casey's portraits on Kyle Field. It was a magnificent memory for us and I'm so glad we get to share it with these two.

Gig 'em!

I love the contrast of these two images - Haley looking glamorous, Casey striking his own pose as a nod to our Heisman winner... whoop!

We had so much fun with these two! If you're a friend of Haley and Casey's, we invite you to view their entire gallery and sign their virtual guestbook.

Sarah at Pierce Ranch

Oct 16, 2013 / Bridals
This past weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Andrew's wedding, so we can finally share the lovely Mrs. Armour's bridal portraits!

Over the past year, we've gotten to go out to the historic Pierce Ranch many times to meet with and visit Sarah and Andrew. If you are a blog follower, you'll remember that we photographed their fishing-themed styled engagement session this past spring, which was featured on the national blog, The Wedding Chicks.

It's only fitting that we went back to their ranch for this bridal shoot. As we drove down the tree-lined driveway and arrived at the main house on the ranch, The Live Oak House, we were greeted by the lovely trio of ladies that accompanied Sarah (her mother, her future mother-in-law, and her grandmother.) We had a fun evening together, and of course, had a beautiful bride to photograph!

I love this one of Sarah laughing. As I was selecting the photographs to feature on the blog, I wanted to show this one because it reminds me of what a sweet and down-to-earth person that Sarah is. I feel corny saying it, but everyone loves you!

This picture (with another ranch home, called The Ranch House, in the background) is the one that Sarah selected as her portrait to display at the reception.

At the end of the shoot, as a special treat for Andrew and a nod to their engagement shoot, Sarah wanted to take a few pictures by the lake.

You won't see too many silhouette photos from us, but we're suckers for this one of Sarah. For some reason, it reminds me of Gone With The Wind. So southern!
