"My colors are blush and bashful." As much as I love the movie Steel Magnolias, I'm so glad that our brides are more, shall we say, adventurous with their color choices for their weddings!

On our blog I'm going to be highlighting a few of our past brides' choices for color palettes for their big days. Today I wanted to feature the lovely fall wedding of Jana and Clint. This wedding was full of amazing details and choices but I'm sure Jana could tell you nailing down this color palette made her and Clint's jobs much easier. And kudos to them, their wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty!

Family Sessions for Fall!

A SIMPLE AUTUMN EVENING
___________________________________________________________________________

Sitting in my parents' living room as the evening sun cascaded through the open windows, I looked around to see what I was surrounded by. To my left, my nieces casually sat on the floor constructing their avant garde Lego city, and to my right, my parents laughed and admired their creativity. The lingering aroma of Mom's pot roast filled the chilled autumn air as we sat and relived the day's events after dinner. Across the room, my sister had fallen asleep in Dad's chair. We were wrapped in coziness, dressed in pajamas, and it was simply perfect. Oh to have a picture of this exact moment: something to change a fleeting moment into a permanent object that I could hold in my hands and look upon again, reliving the subtle happiness in that room. Something to celebrate that exact split second for years to come, and for generations to come.
A photograph that showed us as we were, in that moment.
A family.
