It doesn't get any better than these two! Baker made a 13 hour road trip just to be able to meet up with his beautiful bride-to-be for some portraits. These two are getting married in a few weeks in Alabama and we know it is going to be perfect! They define southern charm and have a deep respect for each other. It is such an honor to have been able to visit with these two and discover the genuine love the share.

After a quick trip to Vegas for a photography convention, we met up with Cat's family at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. If you have been to our place or follow along with us on social media, you know that we live right on the corner of Cat's family's cattle ranch. One of the big events for the ranch is taking cattle to Houston for the International Brahman Show.

I grabbed my Contax before we left and shot a good amount of film over the two days we were there. The ranch had Reserve International Champion Bull and Female, which always makes the prior year's hard work much more gratifying. Here are a few of our favorite images from the show.

Alex and Maury had a frosty and cold winter day to match their winter wonderland themed wedding. As a Christmastime bride and groom ourselves, we loved getting to see all of the fun things that Alex planned for her big day.

We first met Alex and Maury a little over one year ago when we shot their engagement shoot. In the past year, from their engagement shoot to Alex's bridals at Chateau Cocomar, and many dinners and conversations in between, we're so thankful for the friendship of these two.

Most exciting for us, after this year of getting to know Alex, we knew that she was someone special, and are excited to share that as of January 2014, she's now on board here at Luke and Cat Photography as our 'creator of awesomeness' - meaning that she wears many hats, each of which helps us in so many ways. Yay!
