Hi there! We're Luke and Cat, and we're so happy you're here. We hope you'll stay a while! We’re a husband and wife wedding photographer team based in Houston, Texas. Ranchers-turned-photographers, our world looks like this: a Craftsman-style farmhouse; our newborn, Knox, in our arms; coffee in the kitchen; Edison lights on the back porch; and a pair of English bulldogs at the foot of our bed. Happy 1-Year Anniversary :: Traci and Michael!

Mar 19, 2013 / Weddings
Another Luke and Cat couple celebrated their 1-year anniversary this past Saturday! Congratulations Traci and Michael on your anniversary!

As we look back through your wedding photos, here's 3 of our favorite memories!

1. Traci - you were such a happy bride.
Nothing's better than a smiling bride and her best friends around her. I love all of your smiles, but Traci's is my favorite. You had so much to be happy about!

2. Of course, we liked the Aggie War Hymn.
We're Aggies too so we love it anytime we get to shoot Aggie weddings. Traci and Michael had a blast with their Aggie friends. Gig 'em!

3. The exit... looking like royalty.
Traci changed out of her wedding gown into a reception party dress - which I always love. When she and Michael made their exit, they looked like movie stars!

Traci and Michael, you guys were wonderful to photograph! From your engagement shoot in College Station, hanging out and eating Mexican food, all the way to your wedding day... it was such a pleasure getting to know you both. We are so excited to to watch where life takes you both.

Enjoy this adventure as you continue to build a life together!

Floral Inspiration :: All White

Mar 15, 2013 / Weddings
Again this week we're talking about floral inspiration in the form of bouquets.

All white bouquets are always a classic choice. There's so many options for the flowers to use in these. Many of our brides carried white bouquets this past year. The bridesmaids sometimes carried white as well, and others carried brightly colored ones.

Flowers featured (left to right) by Lana Benedict (El Campo), Jan Barstead (Dallas), and Carter's Florist (Houston).

Megan's Bridals :: Film

Mar 12, 2013 / Bridals, Film
Now that Megan and James' wedding has came and went, it's time for you to oooh-and-aaaah over how beautiful of a bride Megan was.

We had an incredible time with Megan and her tagalongs (her aunt and her mother-in-law) shooting her bridals. The images we're showing today were all shot on film, which was so much fun. Megan, you are beautiful!
